Newsletter #1: January 2017

Since 1995, Stretch to Win’s mission and passion has been to educate the public and to train professionals in the science and art of stretching & mobility to improve health, function and performance in life, fitness and in sports.

To our Dear Readers,

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!

We’re excited to present this month’s lineup:

For this first issue, we present our popular stretch-mobility program called the “Core 4 on the Floor™”. First released to the public with the 1st edition of our Stretch to Win book in 2006, this program has helped thousands. It can be used as a dynamic stretch-mobility warm up to prepare for any activity or used for post activity recovery. Many have also used it as corrective exercise to improve function and eliminate pain. Enjoy!

AMAZING, truly inspiring story of self healing from combining the power of her spirit with Fascial Stretch Therapy (aka ‘FST’) after devastating motor vehicle accident left this mom without the ability to walk or use her arm, shoulder crushed, rock debris impregnated in her body and no hope. Hear Vee Comstock's story by clicking on the video above.

This fitness trainer has such a great story! In a nutshell, it took her only 3 months after her first training with us to completely change her life and those of her clients. She now works for herself as a full time FST practitioner, appointments booked out for weeks. Even medical professionals refer their challenging patients because of her reputation in helping so many. We’re so proud to present this inspiring interview with Holly Lynch, certified Fascial Stretch Specialist.

INDOOR AIR - the missing link causing inflammation in the human body

By Chris Frederick, PT

Living in New York City most of my life, I was always concerned about what outdoor air pollution was doing to my body. I felt that there was nothing I could do except live a healthy lifestyle, take extra anti-oxidants and walk through Central Park to get my daily dose of better air.

When I started spending more time indoors than outdoors, in places other than my home where I couldn't open windows (much less control the air quality), my concerns grew. Now there is much evidence linking indoor air – in your home, workplace, anywhere – with chronic, daily exposure to factors proven to cause inflammation in your body.

Those factors – like bacteria, viruses, mold, fungus and more – are also on surfaces that come in contact with the air.  Surfaces that transfer those invisible factors to things you may touch and then introduce to your skin, nose, mouth or ears: counters, furniture, floors, door handles, microwaves, even other people. And to make matters worse, VOCs (volatile organic compounds) are chemicals present everywhere in most rooms that produce a toxic mix of gases that may or may not have an odor. You know that “new car smell”? That’s a VOC.

In other words, the unconscious acts of breathing as well as anything you may touch without a thought can introduce elements that produce inflammation in your body (and flu viruses). Fortunately, there is now a solution available to the public when until recently, it was only available to industries battling the worst odors and exposures.

FDA approved for use in medical facilities, many companies that wanted clean, healthy air were rapidly adopting this new technology. This included places like fitness clubs, surgical suites, restaurants, cruise ships, casinos and many more. As a consequence they were able to eliminate the use of chemical air and surface cleaners that we now know may cause cancer in humans and animals and are terrible for our environment.

I am really excited to announce that a limited number of personal units are now available for the very first time. The only reason I’m endorsing this technology is because my wife and I have had personal success with having this unit work for us in 2 separate emergency situations to eliminate toxic odor. You can read about that and more (including scientific studies) at this link:

Or if you want to eliminate inflammatory factors present in your air and on your surfaces as soon as possible, then please go to this link to order your personal unit:

[If you are a professional in the health, fitness, sports or spa fields and are interested in generating revenue by having your clients order these personal units from a link on your website, blog or social media then please contact me by filling out the contact form here:]
