Sports FST + Level Three Refresher


Sports FST training is only available for practitioners who have completed Levels 1-3 of FST. During this four-day program, we’ll integrate all three levels of your training with new assessments and techniques specific to athletic performance, including:

  • Sport specific functional assessments
  • How to work deeper into joint capsules and soft tissues
  • How to work with the sympathetic nervous system
  • New sport specific FST movement patterns focused on the core, hips, and shoulders
  • How to perform dynamic FST and maintain up-regulation for game ready preparedness
  • How to perform FST for proprioception and not for lengthening

FST Refresher, Modifications & Business Coaching


FOR ALL FST LEVELS

Course description:

  • FST Refresher: Multiple teachers available to work with you 1-on-1 with skill checks from your workshop practical to refine and improve quality of touch while eliminating any faulty habits. Your experience will then be personalized within a small group setting, so you get what you need and more. You feel our hands, we feel yours for highly specific and individualized feedback.
  • FST Modifications: we will start with a focus on general categories of the super tight and very large client so you can learn how to work with these clients by giving them what they need while avoiding straining or hurting yourself. You will learn a variety of ways to down regulate your clients. Unique techniques and how to manage special populations like pregnancy and joint replacements will be covered in addition to any examples that you would like us to discuss.
  • FST Basic Business: A business workshop to help get a pulse on your business. Whether it’s to start, enhance or simply add some new ideas. This workshop is aimed to help FST practitioners maximize their personal and business potential.

LifeStretch® Online Course

LifeStretch® is a mobility-stretch class designed to help individual clients or group fitness members become more flexible in body, mind, and spirit.

It is unique because the choreography uses self-traction to create space in joints. When traction during inhalation is followed by exhalation during the mobility-stretch sequences, range of motion increases rapidly without discomfort.

While most stretch formats target isolated, single muscles, LifeStretch progresses through entire chains of neuromyofascia. It starts in standing position with a flow that allows the participant to do a self-assessment, then transitions to a mat on the floor. The flow has a logical sequence, mobilizing joints and shorter chains of small muscles and fascia, progressing to longer chains of multiple joints and larger muscles and fascia. Participants are encouraged to explore the spaces in their own bodies with movements that are pain-free and efficient. Unlike many other group classes LifeStretch encourages a non-competitive atmosphere.

LifeStretch is built on the principle that the brain learns movement patterns in multiple planes, not with uniplanar, isolated muscle contractions. It uses the StretchWaveTM to move the body in a comfortable undulating and oscillating fashion, breaking through tissue restrictions by synchronizing breath with efficient movement, instead of painful or excessive force.

With regular class participation, attendees will realize gains in mobility and function faster than ever before. Its a self-care program, can be taught as a small group class, or even 1 on 1 with a client.

This is an online course taken at your own pace and no prerequisites required.
